The West Midlands regional network comprises six trusts across Birmingham, Coventry, Stoke, Shrewsbury, Dudley and Wolverhampton.

National Project
Following a regional day in March 2017, the West Midlands decided to work together to improve access to home therapies across the region. They are collaborating with the East Midlands region on the national quality improvement project Dialysis At Yours: Life Fulfilled (DAYLife). Further information on this project is available here.

West Midlands AKI Network
The West Midlands region have also formed an AKI Network to consider the UKRR AKI data and the variation in practice across the region. The AKI network, led by a group of interested clinicians, is working together to identify areas of best practice to spread and adopt locally, including the access to specialist advice and guidance within the network.
