Call for AKI Case Studies

Are you keeping your AKI light under a bushel?

Have you got a case study we can highlight?

Think Kidneys has a number of case studies on the website which detail changes and improvements teams have made to the delivery of care and services for managing AKI. The case studies describe how renal units and Trusts have responded in many different ways to improve their services, and there is learning to be shared from each of these stories.

We believe there are more case studies out there and would like to invite you to submit yours to Think Kidneys for publication on the website. You can do this either by just writing your story of what you’ve done and what has changed as a result, or you can complete the case study template which can be found here on the Kidney Quality Improvement Partnership (KQuIP) Hub pages on the website.

Writing your case study is a good way to reflect on  and evaluate your work and consider the impact the changes have had. They provide valuable learning opportunities within your organisation and beyond. They can also be used to raise awareness of the work you have been doing in your Trust and your local community, so it’s often a good idea to let your communications team know so that they can broadcast your work.

If you would like to speak with someone about your AKI work and potential case study email julie.slevin@renalregistry.nhs.uk who will be able to advise you.
