Unveiling the information on a banner at the RCGP’s event – ‘making kidney care a priority in primary care’ – it was well received as useful and practical information for anyone wanting to know about their kidneys, what they do and how to look after them.
The event at the RCGP was the culmination of three years’ work by the College, which was led by Think Kidneys team member Kathryn Griffith. Kathryn gave an overview of her work as RCGP Clinical Champion for Renal to raise awareness of CKD and AKI and detection and management in primary care.
