In December 2018, 40 leaders from the ten renal units across the East and West Midlands met together to reflect on their leadership training and how it may be applied when leading improvement projects.
The event allowed an opportunity for attendees to develop their shared purpose, drivers and measures of success, plan a framework and agree a measurement plan for the DAYLife QI project over the coming year.
As part of the Leadership into Action event, teams assessed their readiness for change using the self-assessment diagnostic Are You Ready for Change? tool.
This was discussed amongst teams, and action plans drawn up to address
areas that participants could influence as leaders.
