A network wide learning event was held for the local project groups across the East and West Midlands in May 2019 to share successes and challenges, review outcomes from the first four months of the DAYLife project and plan the next phase]. 54 people attended including patients and staff.
Training on QI methodology was delivered, and teams shared their experiences of the past four months –successes, failures and challenges. The day included practical learning sessions with teams returning to their process maps and driver diagrams, and reviewing home dialysis data from January – April. Teams were asked to make three pledges for the next phase of their project: one data pledge, one leadership pledge, and one pledge of their choice.
“I really enjoyed the time that I was there and was struck by the enthusiasm and dedication from all the units involved. It was really heartening to see.”
